Just edit the map features to add footpaths and byways - zoom in and then see the rights of way. You can add aerial photos as well. Ace - Can really check if your OS is up to date before you plan the run.The site also has bits for recording highway faults. If however there is a PROW issue use this link Reporting Footpath (Right of Way) problems.
This does not cover Warrington (Lymm, Stockton Heath etc.) - they have their own footpaths officer

For those who have GPS or satnav and can't handle real maps then I noticed the following. First Click to the streetmap link If you scroll to the bottom it will show - for example the following is for the Tigers Head at Norley - OS ref SJ572726-This shows as National OS Grid Ref - 357200E 372600N and also shows the following (N53:14:55 W2:38:34) which I believe is all you need for a GPS. If you click on the little link also there to convert the references you will be shown the nearest Post Code. Neat eh?

1785 Tuesday 14th Sept The Star Inn, Acton Acton Nr Nantwich To all those in Knutsford and the northerly parts of Cheshire please note that it only takes 30 minutes to get to the pub from Knutsford - so no excuses. Straight down the M6 to Jnc 16, follow signs for Chester, after 7 (yes seven if you don't count the one on the M6) roundabouts you'll come to a crossroads controlled by traffic lights. Turn left (for Nantwich) and the Star is about half a mile down on the right. Parking is a little tight so if you arrive late there is a public car park on the left just before the pub. For those from mid or west Cheshire just head to Nantwich and you'll end up at the same traffic lights. Just follow the Nantwich sign.
Beer is from £2.60 to £2.95 (for a rather good Shropshire Gold) and chips are on offer for an extra £1.
