Cheshire Cat After the excellent Hash Quiz which raised over £3500 for charity - note in your diary the CH3 weekend away in Oswestry on the weekend of September the 27th
Have a look at the Tallyho
This is an excellent hash or walking resource
Cheshire Council Interactive Footpath maps

Just edit the map features to add footpaths and byways - zoom in and then see the rights of way. You can add aerial photos as well. Ace - Can really check if your OS is up to date before you plan the run.The site also has bits for recording highway faults. If however there is a PROW issue use this link Reporting Footpath (Right of Way) problems.
This does not cover Warrington (Lymm, Stockton Heath etc.) - they have their own footpaths officer
Races - Cloud 9 - Halton 5 - TuffNutz - Chester Half- Wincle Trout - City of Manchester
Not Wilmslow as they are full
2008 Race entry Forms Individual or team Orienteering link from Ray H may be interesting

Heather has a call out for volunteers for marshalling the Wilmslow Running Club series 5 miler from the Railway in Mobberley Wed 7th May - 7pm evening. Wilmslow 5 mile entry form Excellent race last year - ask Brian B.
As you know I try to get all of the runsites to have a link to a Streetmap web page. For those who have GPS or satnav and can't handle real maps then I noticed the following First Click to the streetmap link If you scroll to the bottom it will show - for example the following is for the Tigers Head at Norley - OS ref SJ572726
This shows as National OS Grid Ref - 357200E 372600N and also shows the following (N53:14:55 W2:38:34) which I believe is all you need for a GPS.
If you click on the little link also there to convert the references you will be shown the nearest Post Code. Neat eh?

1364 Tuesday 27th May The New Horseshoe, Lawton Heath End, Alsager Lawton Heath End Simon had great difficulty in finding a pub in this area which didn't do a quiz night on a Tuesday. Choices to get here are - Come down the A50 to Rode Heath and then continue for about 1km towards Church Lawton and make a sharp right back towards Lawton Heath End.
An alternative would be to come down the M6 - get off at J 17 and head towards Sandbach then turn down the A533. After crossing the M6 go about 2.5-3 km and then turn right down the B5078 to Lawton Heath end and then turn left towards Church Lawton. The pub is about 400metre along
